GIB® Fibrerock® Aqua-Tough™

GIB^® Fiberock^® Aqua-Tough™ is unique within the GIB® range. It is a polymer modified, pressed gypsum-fibre based sheet material without a paper face with a fully embedded mesh within its core for enhanced impact resistance.

When installed in accordance with GIB® Tough Systems, GIB^® Fiberock^® Aqua-Tough™ offers increased hard and soft body impact resistance over paper-faced gypsum plasterboards including GIB Toughline®, resulting in further reduction in maintenance and repairs. Due to the increased impact resistance and water resistant properties, we suggest that GIB^® Fiberock^® Aqua-Tough can be used as an alternate for medium density fibreboard, plywood and fibre cement products in wet areas.

Recommended locations for use include commercial and institutional bathroom areas, high traffic hallways, patient rooms, garages & indoor sports areas.
