GIB XBlock Jointing Compound

Covered by a New Zealand patent pending (Application No. 517385) is a powdered air-drying compound specifically designed for use with GIB X-Block® plasterboard to give lead equivalent protection to joints.

 

Applications

Use for first and second coats over GIB X-Block® plasterboard.

  • Eliminates the need for backing joints with lead strip
  • Excellent adhesion produces a high strength joint when used in conjunction with paper joint tape
  • Can be finished with any of the GIB® finishing compounds
  • Mix to desired consistency on site
