GIB® Architects Regatta
The GIB® Architects Regatta is an annual event held in Westhaven, Auckland. It is open to all architects, their consultants, clients and guests. The GIB® 2012 Regatta will mark the 25th anniversary of this well known event on the sailing calendar.

Architects Regatta 2011
GIB® Architects Regatta was held on Monday 14th February with 42 yachts battling for line honours. The entrants enjoyed a great combination of Auckland sunshine and sufficient wind, resulting in perfect racing conditions.
The overall winner of the Racing Spinnaker Division and recipients of the GIB® cup was Algie Architects on Valeria with South Pacific Architectture on Rainbird taking away the Architectural Marketing Trophy for the Cruising Non-Spinnaker Division.
The prize-giving was held at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron with Chris Hume of Hume Architects as the MC and David Thomas presenting the prizes. This was followed by a buffet dinner, providing everyone with an opportunity for a catch up with fellow architects and friends. Overall, a fun filled day.
