About the role 

Reporting in to the Customer Service Manager you will be the first 'port of call' for inbound customer queries. This is a busy desk based role, based at our National Office in Penrose. The hours will be Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm, and Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm. Key responsibilities include accurately processing orders to completion; answering questions from customers - mostly consisting of merchants, builders and architects; managing our electronic ordering system, processing returns and credits; answering process queries from both customers and internal staff.

 

About you 

You have worked in a Customer Service office environment before, i.e experienced high workloads by phone and email and can multi task between phone, email and meeting deadlines. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be computer savvy with proficient experience in Microsoft Office based software. You will use initiative and explore alternative solutions. You will be able to collaborate and communicate well with others in a team environment. Knowledge of the building industry would be great, but is not essential. the ideal candidate will have geographical knowledge of both the North and South Islands, and exposure to JDE would be advantageous.

About the role 

We currently have an opportunity for you to lead Health and Safety initiatives to ensure we maintain the highest standards of professionalism and compliance across the function. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and as Health and Safety Manager you will form an integral part of our leadership team.You will play a key role in strengthening the safety leadership at Winstone Wallboards as well as taking the opportunity to contribute to initiatives across the wider Fletcher Group. Working to enhance and develop a proactive, safety focused culture where employees play an active role in the health and safety of the organisation.

 

 About you 

You will be an expert in the field, with a consultative approach enabling safety to be everyone’s business. We are keen to speak to leaders capable of being a key advisor to our General Manager. You can influence at both an operational and strategic level and are passionate about driving a culture where everyone has an innate sense of their responsibility. Our culture is one of accountability and delivery, so you'll be passionate about driving the health and safety strategic plan.You will ideally have a senior level of health and safety experience within a manufacturing or production based organisation working across multiple sites. Previous people management experience is key as you will you have a number of direct reports across the country.
