About the role 

Reporting to the Company Accountant, you will be tasked with providing support with Customer Specific Quotes (CSQ), setting up new suppliers in JDE address book, managing new supplier request forms, ensuring all supplier details are kept up-to-date and raising purchase orders for Winstone Wallboards' various functional areas when appropriate. 

You’ll be responsible for efficient processing and invoicing, developing effective relationships with customers, and provide additional support to foreign currency ordering and administration when required. There will be afternoon Reception duties Monday to Friday from 1pm to 5:15pm, where you will be front of office and completing other compatible tasks.

 

About you 

You’ll have previously worked in Accounts Payable support or have prior experience in volume pricing administration. You’ll have an analytical ability, enjoy working with numbers and be solution orientated. You’ll be a team player, organised and have a keen eye for detail. You’ll enjoy being on the phone, as you will be required to liaise with our Sales Representatives daily. You’ll be confident, polite and comfortable with the job share responsibility for Winstone Wallboards' main reception.

This isn't a classic 'corporate' position, it is an opportunity to be part of a commercially driven business with passionate, real people. We have over 300 people across three sites nationwide, so as part of our HR team, you will be busy. Reporting to the HR Manager, this is an opportunity for you to use your organisational skills to provide comprehensive and professional support to the wider business.

This is an all-encompassing role in which you will provide support from operational HR requirements through to programmes, policies and process improvement. To enable that, you will be analytical and systems savvy, with confidence in your ability to understand and interpret data. You will also be involved in assisting with employment relation issues, employee engagement and a range of people and performance initiatives.

Activating and streamlining the on boarding process, liaising with recruitment and other support functions will also be a key part of your day to day. We'll also welcome your suggestions on how we can improve the way we do things in order to deliver even better levels of service.

SUPPLY PLANNER

With manufacturing and distribution sites in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch we are known for our customer leading approach and our quality products. We are looking for a Supply Planner to join our team reporting to our Sales and Operations Planning Manager. 

 

About the role 

You will be responsible for completing weekly reporting focusing on supply chain KPI's labour forecasting, DTS forecasting and providing guidance on stock takes and distribution of Power Bi reports. You will be responsible for maintaining a fork hoist fleet schedule, process flow mapping and conducting operational analyses as required. 50% of this role is purchasing of domestic products, reviewing inventory levels and policies as required, forecasting labour requirements for supply chain activity and maintaining accurate product lines in JD Edwards. You will be required to liaise with suppliers, our BDMs and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for calculating, updating and communicating FAF rates.

 

 About you 

to be successful in this role you will have 3+ years experience in roles with a Supply Chain focus, you will need to have outstanding interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal and external business stakeholders. Good working knowledge of JD Edwards or other ERP systems knowledge, excellent Microsoft Excel skills and demand requirement planning experience.
