New GIB® Sound Reduction Clip Available

The GIB® Sound Reduction Clip is a new acoustic isolation clip designed to isolate the plasterboard ceiling from the structural framing in timber mid floors to help reduce impact noises such as footsteps from transferring to the room below.
The GIB® Sound Reduction Clip provides high IIC (Impact Insulation Class) noise reduction performance of up to 4 points in tested GIB® Timber Frame Mid Floor Noise Control systems* (see system details below) and including the new GIB® Noisefloor® Systems to be released next year.
In addition to timber mid floors the GIB® Sound Reduction Clip can also be used with concrete and CLT mid floors.
