Last month I mentioned our intention to transition the performance of our Freight Into Store Service from Auckland (Westney Rd) to Tauranga and we are well on the way to having that completed by the end of the month. At the same time, the Supply Chain team is still pushing to reduce our lead times across our full range of delivery options.

We received some great news earlier this month with GIB® plasterboard made in the new Tauranga plant achieving performance levels consistent with those of plasterboard made in our Auckland and Christchurch plants. As a result, we have begun despatching Tauranga manufactured plasterboard throughout the North Island.
