The EnviroSpec website assists specifiers with gaining an overview of the material points available when using GIB® Plasterboard as part of the main sustainability certification schemes in use in New Zealand such as the Green Star, Homestar and Living Building Challenge. Environmental Product Declaration

Winstone Wallboards is the first plasterboard manufacturer in Australasia to publish an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The EPD quantifies the environmental performance of GIB® plasterboard including its carbon footprint, embodied energy and other environmental data.

Global Greentag

GIB® plasterboards have also achieved Global Greentag Certification, one of the world's most robust, trusted and widely recognised ecolabels.

Declare certification is available for a range of GIB®  plasterboards. Declare is like a nutritional label for building products, offering specifiers, contractors and building users insight into the ingredients used in the manufacture of building products.
